Entertainers who influence people a lot through media, such as idols, actors, and broadcasters, should be more careful, but public opinion has raised a lot of anger over the many aggressors* of school violence who hurt victims in their socially immoral behavior. However, while the perpetrators were obviously wrong, we have to know a "keyboard warrior" in biased public opinion coordination. So we need to pay attention to another group of people hidden in the case of school violence perpetrators*. <School violence illustration> *Aggressor : The aggressor in a fight or battle is the person, group, or country that starts it *Perpetrator: someone who has committed a crime or a violent or harmful act What is "yellow journalism"? The problem of school violence in the entertainment industry is slightly different from that of the general public. It is the wrong media article that drives those problems. This is called "yellow journalism". The simple definition of yellow journalism is to incite readers with provocative* titles and articles. It is characterized by a tendency like sensation journalism, which stimulates the primitive* instincts* of the public and appeals to curiosity to report on interest. As the logic of capitalist market competition intensifies, newspapers refer to the phenomenon that the content is increasingly stimulating and filled with sensational events such as crimes, bizarre* incidents, and sexual scandals. The characteristic of yellow journalism is that it uses provocative titles in editing and has excessive photography. In 1889, W.R. Hearst's "Morning Journal" took steps from J. Pulitzer's popular Sunday cartoon "Yellow Kid" to create another "yellow kid," and at the same time, the two magazines were fiercely* competing for the yellow kid. It was later referred to as "yellow press" or "yellow paper" for newspapers that published sensational articles. Yellow journalism has been around for a long time, but it can be particularly serious in entertainment events. *Provocative : it is intended to make people react angrily or argue against it *Primitive: belonging to a society in which people live in a very simple way, usually without industries or a writing system *Instinct : the natural tendency that a person or animal has to behave or react in a particular way *Bizarre : very odd and strange *Fiercely : in a frightening, violent, or powerful way Repeated media play and malicious comments Earlier, some people were damaged by false information in the’ Me Too movement’. It's Chu, an idol member of ‘Girl of the Month’. Unverified articles related to school violence have grown indiscriminately*, and as various communities and malicious* comments have intensified, related agencies and artists have written appeals to stop. Eventually, the article about school violence was false, which led the agency to file a complaint against netizens who spread false information. Under the provisions* set forth in the Constitution, the press and publication shall not infringe* on the honor or rights of others, public morals or social ethics. It is stated that when the press or publication infringes on the honor or rights of others, the victim may claim compensation for the damage. In order for privacy disclosure to be justified, it means that reports of privacy violations cannot be unconditionally justified on the grounds that celebrities and celebrities are public figures because they must be of legitimate public interest in public interests. However, there are keyboard warriors that appear with the wrong press. It's the people who post too many malicious comments. Wrong articles, which were written with inaccurate and sensational titles, continue to appear filled with gossip and sensational articles, not only about victims of school violence. As a result, we should recognize that there is a growing number of keyboard warriors, such as those who post malicious comments with false information, and develop a view that should be looked at objectively and critically, not instigated by media companies. Celebrities who influence us a lot have that responsibility, but there is no public nature, and the yellow journalistic reporting practice of writing articles with information that is overly stimulating and false should be changed.

Based on a popular webtoon called ‘Myeoneuragi,’ it has recently become a hot topic on Instagram and Facebook. ‘Myeoneuragi’ is a word that refers to a daughter-in-law in a cute way, which is a direct and affectionate word. From the title, we have a foreboding of what will unfold. Since its release for the first time, it has garnered more than 1 million views and ended with more than 17 million views in each episode, drawing sympathy from various generations. Why is the viewer response so hot? The drama clearly shows the newly coined word ‘seaworld’, which means in-laws of Korean culture. Various age groups are immersed and pouring out their opinions. ‘Seaworld,’ which is only in Korea, gets worse during the national holidays. Changes seem to be needed because the tradition of culture, which has been handed down for a long time, is not a necessary tradition, not a natural acceptance. Let's learn more about this drama that gave family members a chance to reflect on themselves. The main character of this drama tries to become a good daughter-in-law without knowing it as soon as she gets married. The daughter-in-law's life, which is projected through her newly married "Min Sa-rin," shows how unfair things that have been recognized as a natural duty of a daughter-in-law are. There is also an ugly sister-in-law. There is no dramatic conflict, but most married women have honestly portrayed the injustice they must have experienced and felt, so it is a drama that many women sympathize with, cry and get angry together about. Episodes of this drama are likely to happen at any house. Let's take a look at a few episodes. This custom has long come down and everyone has taken it for granted. However, while this practice is still sympathetic, many modern families are breaking the ice. It seems to be an old custom in Korea that still has the values in its head that women should be like this and men should be like this by gender and men and women should be like this.

It is close to 2.4 billion people. Number 2 is YouTube with 2 billion people. It is far more than 1.4 billion China or 1.3 billion India. Moreover, its pace of population growth is unparalleled. One of the characters in the drama was hiding his mind and has been living a life for others, not his own. In one scene, he is shocked to hear that he is hypocritical but realizes that he was. Later, the word ‘hypocrite’ became a real-time search word. What is hypocrisy? We can see people around us holding back their minds and pretending to be okay, pretentious, and nice. Have you ever acted like that yourself? There is one related syndrome in psychology. It is called ‘Good Child Syndrome’. I would like to talk about the differences between the two, how to distinguish them, and how to overcome each of them. The drama ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ Moon Kang-tae, played by actor Kim Soo-hyun in the play, is a person who gave up his life and emotions for his older brother who suffers from *autism. Like the lyrics of the song, Zico caught the public eye and attracted the public’s attention by promoting it in his own style. What makes the song even more special is because of the "Any Song Dance Challenge," the song challenge marketing. The challenge began with a wide spread of videos taken with MAMAMOO Hwasa and Chungha with witty lyrics and easy dance moves that anyone can follow. It showed the connected public of the new SNS era. Zico's “Any Song” released on Jan. 13, 2020, topped the music charts upon its release. The song is exciting and the rhythm is fun, but Zico's expression in the music video is boring from start to finish. The feeling of “not funny” creates an ironic mood. When he was asked on several music programs, “Did you expect your song to be this big issue?”, he said, “I didn't expect it at all. I have never had such a long run with a single song, and I have never had such a syndrome that the entire nation knows. So I think it's strange to feel it.” This became Zico's biggest hit song that everyone from children to adults know. In this connected place of communication, the internet has changed rapidly in the form of images, videos, hashtags, and buzzwords, bringing about the culture of play and memes. After all the hard works of the final exams, students have free time to enjoy things that they have not done during their school semesters. But there seems to be a lot of university students wasting their winter vacation. (Do a poll about What university students do in their winter vacations and attach it here) So today, I am going to introduce some of the finest travel courses to go on a trip to, during this vacation. -What conditions should we think about the trip? The first important thing is to set the date of the trip. A successful trip depends on whether the trip is boring or enjoyable. If the travel time of a trip is too long, the trip becomes loose. On the other hand, if it’s too short, you might have some regrets about it. The length of a trip can vary from a day to a year. Here is a survey that shows the average length of a trip for university students. ▲A Pie Chart on How Long is Enough to go on a Trip The pie chart shows that at about 73% of students favored to go on a trip for less than a week. Looking at this chart, it is a common thing to set the length of a trip for a week. The second important thing is to decide where you want to go. You are less likely to have a successful travel if you don’t plan for it specifically. Hot places? Icy cold weather? Where is the most desirable place? So, I am going to introduce two proper places where students can go. -Bangkok, The Holy Land of Backpackers. Bangkok has been voted as one of the most popular places of summer resorts. Bangkok is also a paradise for travelers who love to eat food. Because there is plenty of food to eat which is cheap compared to Korea. ▲Bangkok’s one of the Desirable Food Pad Thai One of the Bangkok’s famous food is Pad Thai. There is a saying that “You cannot have a conversation about Bangkok with someone who hasn’t tried Pad Thai before.” The food is basically noodles, but with a spicy sauce and some bean sprouts added. The servers give out sugar independently to give a choice for some sweet flavors. I personally liked the sugar added Pad Thai. Pad Thai is a great pick for you if you are willing to feel like a local resident of Bangkok. ▲The Grand Palace of Bangkok As an attraction, there is the Grand Palace of Bangkok. The palace is known for its beauty. The palace consists of the Emerald Buddha and colorful roofs and temples. The Thai people think of the palace as a sacred place, so a strict dress code is requested. Men must wear long pants with sleeves and women are not allowed to wear tank tops. If you are about to visit the Grand Palace, be sure to check your outfits. -Busan, The Second Capital City of Korea ▲Night View of Gwangan Bridge Busan is located at the far southern place of Korea. The city is famous for sashimi and fresh seafood. If you are planning to go on a friendship trip with your friend and looking for a proper place to enjoy, Busan is a good place for you. ▲Fresh Sashimi Served at Jagalchi Market The main food that you cannot miss is sashimi of course. You can have the freshest sashimi near the Jagalchi market, located at the harbor of Busan. In winter, the flatfish and tuna sashimi are at the best condition to make sashimi. With enjoying fresh sashimi with soju, looking at the Gwangan Bridge would be such an impressive landscape. Gwangan Bridge has a special night view if you visit in the evening. What if you could make money from your hobbies? Or what if you could form a community with people who have hobbies like you? Actually, it exists. It is the hobby-sharing platform. The hobby-sharing platform is a hobby and talent-sharing community created by the influence of a shared economy*. You can commercialize your hobbies and form communities with people who have the same hobbies like you. The hobby-sharing platform is becoming popular recently and many hobby-sharing platforms are growing rapidly. The SM Herald is going to introduce the most popular hobby-sharing platforms, ‘솜씨당’ and ‘Frip.’ ▶49 students Sangmyung University The SM Herald asked 49 students Sangmyung University what hobbies they were interested in. As a result, most of the survey respondents said photography (51%), and cooking (44.9%). These top responses (photography, cooking) show many students prefer learning hobbies closely connected with daily life. Then, how are students enjoying their hobbies? Students can create a club for the activities they want, but we wondered if there would be any way to learn hobbies more professionally and share knowledge. While collecting information, we got to know the hobby-sharing platforms. Users can choose groups where people get together to enjoy, learn, and share the same hobby. And also, the users can communicate with other people through the platforms before meeting. ▶49 students Sangmyung University The SM Herald asked the same students if they had heard of or used the hobby-sharing platforms. There are many hobby-sharing platforms providing opportunities to learn various hobbies of high quality. However, most of the respondents (65.7%) answered that they did not know about the existence of any platform and had no experience using it. Therefore, we are going to introduce “Frip” and “솜씨당 (Somssidang)” to the students, which are relatively less known. Special one day classes, “솜씨당” “솜씨당” is a platform which provides space for users to share their hobbies.“솜씨당” focuses on creating a place where people with the same interests in our area, neighborhood, or field gather to share their experiences and share experiences with others. For this reason, “솜씨당” provides hobby classes and the workshop searching service. The difference between other hobby-sharing platforms is that “솜씨당” focuses on local based offline classes.
